Joel E. Barthelemy, Founder and CEO of Scottsdale-based GlobalMed, has a vision of quality, timely care for all through connected health. Barthelemy has spent the last 21 of his 30+ years in the technology industry focused on developing connected health systems. Barthelemy has been recognized as an outstanding innovator, community advocate, a high-growth technology company leader, and he received an honorable discharge as a non-commissioned officer from the United States Marine Corps Reserves.
Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Donna oversees day-to-day operations, leads strategic goals, and aligns key functional areas within GlobalMed. Donna received a Bachelor’s degree from the Art Institute of Chicago, a Master’s in Organizational Development from Loyola University Chicago, and completed the Executive Education Program in Finance from Harvard University.
Executive VP of Government Affairs
Julia Huls is responsible for the development and performance of sales activities for commercial markets. She also manages reseller partnerships, plays a primary role in developing international business, and is involved in all aspects of growth in the LATAM market. Before GlobalMed, Julia worked in medical sales, hospice, and as a bi-lingual case worker for an adoption agency. Julia grew up in the Amazon Jungle of Peru. Today, she lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, where she enjoys spending time with her husband and family of 9 kids.
Senior Product Manager
As Senior Product Manager, Brandon has spent years perfecting his craft, dedicated to developing user-centric products that help redefine the way we deliver care. His passion for people and belief in the power of technology to empower us to be our best selves led him to join GlobalMed. His focus on wellness applications helps to simplify complex clinical concepts into fun and easy-to-use activities. After all, why can't staying healthy be fun?
Whether orchestrating behind-the-scenes magic or pulling proverbial rabbits from hats, his goal is simple: to make life brighter for users. At GlobalMed, being well isn't just a goal; it's a lifestyle we want to help embody.
Senior UI/UX Design
Connor manages all things UX and UI at GlobalMed. Having spent many years making experiential art installations and then moving on to marketing and communications design, he brings a variety of perspectives to his work now in product design. With his experience and the power of an improbable amount of coffee, Connor strives to create experiences that excite and delight.
